The company under the name ΠΑΠΙΛΙΚΟΓΛΟΥ ΣΤΑ. ΗΛΙΑΣ welcomes you to its website “geoshop.gr”, through which you can be informed about its products and place your online order remotely. The present terms of operation and use of the website are fully compatible with the current European and Greek law, and the User visiting the website explicitly recognizes that they have full knowledge of these terms, accepts them explicitly and unreservedly, and undertakes the obligation to comply with them. The online store geoshop.gr offers its services under the following terms of use, as they apply from time to time, which the visitor/user of the website pages is considered to have carefully read and fully and unreservedly accepted, in any case of visiting/using the pages/services of the online store geoshop.gr. Geoshop.gr reserves the right to unilaterally modify the terms of use without prior notice to the user/visitor, except for their publication on the corresponding website.

E–SHOP SERVICE

Users are free to navigate the website; however, only legally capable individuals, according to Greek Law, have the exclusive right to place orders and purchase products (“Service”). In the event of an order from a legally incapable individual, the Company reserves the right to execute the order through the person who exercises guardianship or supervision. The products sold through the website are intended exclusively for purchase by users and not for resale. In the event of a breach of the above term, the user is obliged to compensate the Company for any damage incurred as a result of their non-compliant behavior.

LICENSE FOR USE AND ACCESS TO THE ONLINE STORE

Geoshop.gr provides its customers with limited access and usage license of the geoshop.gr online store, for placing orders and communicating with the company. Visitors of geoshop.gr retain a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the homepage of geoshop.gr on their own web space, provided that such hyperlink does not describe geoshop.gr or its products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise unpleasant manner. VISITORS’/USERS’ OBLIGATIONS

  6. To maintain confidentiality and not disclose to third parties the username and password for accessing the services of geoshop.gr.
  7. To provide accurate payment and delivery details for the orders placed on the geoshop.gr online store. Geoshop.gr provides membership services to its users, following acceptance of the terms of use of the website and completion of the registration process. Members remain solely responsible for all actions carried out under their personal password, their email address, and their account in general. Members agree to promptly notify geoshop.gr of any unauthorized use of their account and any actual or potential security breach. Furthermore, members are solely responsible for the careful use of their account and for properly logging out at the end of each session (Logout). Geoshop.gr is not responsible for any damage or loss arising from members’ failure to comply with and follow this clause.   8. The user/member understands and accepts that geoshop.gr reserves the exclusive right to suspend the use of/access to their password(s) to its services and/or to suspend the provision of its content to users/members who are believed to have violated the letter and spirit of these terms of use.

TRANSACTION SECURITY

Under no circumstances does geoshop.gr have access to, or store in the database it uses, in any way, the financial information of its customers (credit card details, bank accounts). All transactions and payments via credit cards are carried out through direct redirection to the absolutely secure payment environment of ALPHA BANK. All data electronically transferred from the customer (card details) to the ALPHA e-commerce service, as well as their transfer from the Bank to VISA, MasterCard, or AMERICAN EXPRESS, are covered by the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 128-bit encryption algorithm by Geotrust. Your transactions with geoshop.gr (Company PAPILIKOGLOU STA. ILIAS) are fully compliant with Law No. 2472/97 on the protection of your personal data and in accordance with the new European legislation (Privacy – Cookie Law Directive 2013). At the same time as order confirmation, and once payment has been made by credit/debit card, the corresponding amount is temporarily reserved (the card is NOT charged yet). The card is charged upon the execution (shipment) of the order and the issuance of the sales document (Retail Receipt – Sales Invoice). The maximum period for which the amount of the order can remain reserved is 20 days. If for any reason during this period the order is not executed, then the corresponding amount is automatically released by the bank system, and the order is canceled. If the order is canceled at any time before its execution, following communication with the sales department, the amount is immediately released by the bank system we collaborate with.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to carry out any transaction through the online store, you will be asked to disclose some personal information. The issue of protecting your personal data is a very serious matter for our company and is treated as our highest priority. Your personal data is collected by our company exclusively for the purpose of conducting transactions with geoshop.gr and communicating with you to complete your orders, invoice you, facilitate deliveries, overall order fulfillment, address your inquiries, and send informational messages regarding our products and services. This data is processed by the company in accordance with Article 7A paragraph 1 (b) of Law 2472/1997, for the purpose of fulfilling the order placed by the customer, and will not be disclosed, made public, or sold to third parties, unless the procedure provided by law for lifting confidentiality (Law 2225/1994) is initiated or any obligations arising from the national implementation of Directive 24/2006 apply. The user/consumer/visitor/member of geoshop.gr should also safeguard the confidentiality of their data and refrain from disclosing it to third parties (even inadvertently) or allowing third parties to use their information. Furthermore, it is recommended to change the user password regularly at intervals. The company reserves the right to claim damages for any breach of the above obligations by the user/consumer/visitor/member of geoshop.gr.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The entirety of the content found on geoshop.gr, such as, but not limited to, text, graphics, trademarks, images (regardless of characteristics), digital files, and software, is the exclusive property of the Electronic Store geoshop.gr or the content providers cooperating with the Electronic Store, and is protected by Greek and International laws regarding the protection of intellectual property rights. The collection and use of any product catalogs, product descriptions, or prices, as well as any indirect use of the Electronic Store and its contents, for the benefit of another business, commercial or non-commercial, is prohibited without the written consent of geoshop.gr. The entire design of the website, including the text, graphics, layout, and settings, is the property of geoshop.gr and is protected by copyright law. Reserved all rights. The newsletters, which visitors/users of geoshop.gr services voluntarily receive upon registration, constitute the intellectual property of geoshop.gr and are therefore protected by the relevant provisions of Greek legislation and international conventions. Geoshop.gr reserves the right to refuse the registration of any individual to its mailing lists or to remove them from them.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

Given the nature and volume of the Internet, under any circumstances, including negligence, geoshop.gr is not liable for any form of damage suffered by the visitor/user of its pages, services, options, and content, which they access at their sole responsibility. The contents of geoshop.gr are provided ‘as is’ without any express or implied warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, geoshop.gr disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Geoshop.gr makes every effort to ensure the quality of the services it provides, but there is no absolute guarantee that there will be no delays or errors. Geoshop.gr makes continuous efforts for the accurate description of products and to keep you informed about them; however, it does not bear any responsibility for possible inaccuracies in the information provided by manufacturers or distributors. Geoshop.gr is not responsible for any product shortages from companies and continuously monitors their availability. It promptly updates its website for any shortages with the message ‘Expected’, and in case a customer expresses interest in a product, they are informed as soon as possible about its future availability.

WITHDRAWAL – RETURN POLICY / CANCELLATIONS

Geoshop.gr, always aiming to provide you with the best service, offers the possibility of returning the products of your order. Returns of products are accepted under the following terms:

  1. The return must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  2. The returned product must be in perfect condition, just as it was before the sale, in its original packaging, with all the contents of the original packaging, including any potential gift it may have contained. In case the additional gift is not returned, its value is then deducted from the refunded amount.
  3. Returns of products purchased on sale or with a discount offer are not accepted.
  4. For the return to be accepted, the product must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase (retail receipt or invoice). In case the purchase was made with a credit card, the original receipt issued by the bank terminal must be presented.
  5. Cancellation of a confirmed order without any charge on your part is only accepted until the moment we inform you by email about its shipment. If the cancellation is made after the shipment of the order has started, then you will be charged for the shipping costs.

DELIVERIES

Deliveries are made by a courier company, and the products are delivered to the address you have provided us. Orders are typically dispatched on the same business day, except in exceptional cases where one of the selected products is not available. If any products are out of stock, the delivery time may vary depending on the availability of the company itself. In each such case, we will inform you accordingly. In some particularly remote areas, shipping via courier is still not feasible. In these cases, the shipment is made via the postal service (ELTA). VARIOUS TERMS

The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, which will be announced on the Website within a reasonable timeframe. In any case, the terms posted on the date of the User’s order will apply. The Company also reserves the right to suspend at any time and without prior notice part or all of the services provided by the Website. The failure to exercise any of the rights arising from these terms by the Company shall in no way constitute a waiver of those rights.

APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION

The present contract is governed by Greek law, and for any dispute that may arise, the Courts of Thessaloniki shall have jurisdiction.
