BLK2FLY 3D Scans

The BLK2FLY is another innovation by Leica Geosystems as it is the world’s first fully integrated UAV LiDAR. It is an autonomous airborne LiDAR scanner with advanced obstacle avoidance capabilities for easy aerial three-dimensional scanning. It captures exterior building surfaces and hard-to-reach areas such as roofs and tall facades, creating three-dimensional point clouds during flight.

Color scanning of entire buildings. The BLK2FLY collects color point clouds for generating three-dimensional models, drawings, and visualizations.

Scan inaccessible areas easily and quickly. With just a few clicks on the tablet screen, you can set up the mission you want the BLK2FLY to execute. State-of-the-art flight safety technology.

SMART APPLICATIONS FOR SAFE AND EASY FLIGHT

Do you have experience with drones? No problem. You define the scanning area, and the BLK2FLY takes care of everything else, as it is ready for takeoff with the press of a button.

Mapping the scanning area. Select an area on the 3D map on your tablet, and the BLK2FLY will create its own flight path to scan it quickly and safely.

Tap-to-Scan. Send BLK2FLY to scan a new area by tapping anywhere on the 3D view of the application.

Virtual Joysticks. You can also manually pilot the BLK2FLY using virtual joysticks on your tablet. This important safety feature gives you complete control.
