Description

BR15 Microwave radiation measuring device
Reliable detection of harmful microwave radiation

Microwave radiation is odourless and invisible, but it is not harmless.

Using the BR15 you can detect microwave emissions from all high frequency devices operating in the ISM 2.45 GHz band

And a little more:

The domestic microwave oven, many mobile phone networks, wireless video transmission systems, WLAN, Bluetooth, and to some extent different radio transmitters, remote controls or DECT cordless phones.

Whether permeable microwave oven, WLAN router, mobile phone or transmitter mast – using the harmful microwave radiation of the BR15, it can be reliably detected and marked as a digital indication on the easy-to-read display.

If the set value exceeds the maximum ICNIRP limit value of 5 mW/cm², the BR15 automatically alerts the user via an audible warning signal and an additional warning indicator on the display.

By using the BR15 microwave indicator of the MultiMeasure Basic series, harmful microwave radiation and the cause can be detected quickly and easily

Some practical benefits:

  • Quick and easy radiation measurement in the 2.45 GHz band
  • Optimal price-performance ratio
  • Maximum value and standby mode
  • Automatic visual and acoustic notification with alarm signal when limit values are exceeded
  • Illuminated display
  • Soft functional buttons
  • Automatic switch-off

Facts worth knowing about EMF radiation:
When setting limit values in the high frequency range, most countries in the world are guided by the recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).

Current ICNIRP limit value recommendations vary depending on the application and range from 0.2 to 5 mW/cm².

The permissible emission limit value e.g. for microwave ovens according to DIN EN 60335-2-90 is 5 mW/cm².

Values exceeding a threshold value of 5 mW/cm2 are unanimously considered harmful to health.
