CHASING Dory Underwater Drone

Imagine holding the sea in the palm of your hand. This is the idea behind CHASING Dory, the world’s smallest underwater drone. With a 15-metre wired tether between the drone and the float, there’s plenty of room to explore any underwater world.

Chasing’s Dory model, is the smallest and most affordable underwater, remote-controlled 5-motor drone. The camera provides real-time 720p resolution photos and videos, while recording in FullHD 1080p resolution, at a depth of up to 15 meters.

Chasing is making underwater drone photography easier with Dory, a compact vehicle that operates remotely and transmits photos and videos from a depth of up to 15 meters and is controlled from a smartphone or tablet. Dory connects to a small float equipped with Wi-Fi with a 15-metre cable and streams live 720p video below the surface, to your device and to social media if you want.

It takes 2MP photos and records 1920×1080 video at 30 fps, enhanced by a colour restoration algorithm for dynamic images, while the wide-angle f/1.6 lens captures landscape and action even in low-light environments. Two 250 lumen LED lights illuminate the stage, with a colour temperature of 4000k to 5000k.

Look up or down

With Dory’s slick angle positioning you can angle DORY anywhere between 45° up or down to view the world underwater.

Depth lock

DORY’s Depth Lock allows you to maintain underwater stability at your desired depth.

Smartphone = Smart Controller

With the CHASING DORY app all you need is a smartphone to control your underwater experience. From your smartphone, you can control everything from diving, tilting, depth lock and of course, camera settings and capture.
