Description
The DJI Matrice 30T supports a set of optical obstacle avoidance sensors covering around, above and below at distances from 0.6m to 38m suitable for operation in > 15lux illumination. The optical sensors are supported by similar infrared sensors with a range from 0.1m to 10m.
DJI’s C2 Ocusync 3 subsystem transmits at 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz frequencies with a maximum resolution of 1080p AES256 encrypted video streaming. Its theoretical range is 8km in CE version. At the same time it is possible with additional equipment to transfer the pixel signal via 4G.
The system is powered by two DJI TB30 batteries with a capacity of 5880mAh each with a nominal voltage of 26.1VDC. The batteries are of the chemical type LiNiMnCoO2 with a weight of 685g x 2 = 1.37kg. The system comes with a charging case with a capacity of up to 8 TB30 batteries and 2 WB37 batteries (controller batteries). The charging pattern serves simultaneous charging of 2 TB30 batteries and 1 WB37 battery and then the next ones are served in series. The nominal charging time is shown in the figure below and is valid provided that the batteries are within the charging temperature range.
DJI RC Plus
The DJI Matrice 30 is served by a new controller, the DJI RC Plus. It incorporates a 7″ high brightness 1200cd/m2 display with 1920x1200p resolution and is waterproof with dust resistance according to IP54 standard. The ergonomic design of the buttons and sticks allows handling even with gloves. The operating temperature of the controller is from -20°C to 50°C.
Cloud Business Management Application
FlightHub 2 DJI FlightHub 2 subscription software offers access to detailed flight planning tools with simultaneous assignment of areas to more than one drone and real-time monitoring of mission progress. At the same time, it allows interaction with the Matrice 30 crews in real time through the sharing of notes on a digital map while the manager has a real-time view of the positions of both the Matrice 30 and the operators. Finally, using 4G, each Matrice 30 can send images or video of the area it operates to the Cloud.
DJI Dock
The DJI Dock service station is compatible with the Matrice 30 and offers remote charging and storage services for the drone, making it ready for use 24/7. It provides remote management via 4G and serves automatic patrol and surveillance flights. With IP55 protection it can operate in temperatures between -35°C and 50°C.
